Monday morning: The German automobile supplier, Allgaier Uhingen, a body tools manufacturer, asks us to intervene in emergency following the shutdown of his production machine from their press shop. In fact, a 250kW SIMOVERT Masterdrive breaks down. The production is paralyzed.
Tuesday morning: The product arrives at our Metz agency. Immediately, we mobilized our teams day and night to intervene as quickly as possible.
The challenge is significant, we must diagnose the failure, repair the product and deliver our customer as quickly as possible.
After our diagnosis, we notice 3 major issues :
Rectifier out of order :
- Defective Thyristors
- Thyristor control board out of order
Inverter out of order :
- Electronical default on IGBT driver board
Wednesday morning : Thanks to the synergies put in place by our teams, we delivered the product Wednesday morning to our customer who was able to restart production.
In addition to our intervention, we recommend them to control the braking module that could have caused the drive failure.
