Gerflor: Order of 4 Siemens S150 and 1LH8 variable speed drives and motors

In late 2016, GERLFOR, a manufacturer of professional and private floor coverings, launched a new PVC floor manufacturing unit using recycled materials called “RICA”. Our customer wants to minimise production shutdowns and optimise maintenance on the line. To do this, it needs the following: a stock of spare parts for a fleet of 4 Siemens S150 and 1LH8 variable speed drives and motors (2 X 710KW, 2 X 400KW); to implement a corrective and preventive maintenance solution; to manage the maintenance of both stock and production drives; and to draw up contracts for these measures. We have just received our first order for the supply of spare parts and for one-year’s storage at our DV GROUP premises in Saint Vulbas. The order comprises 1 S150 710KW variable speed drive, 1 S150 400KW variable speed drive, 1 water-cooled 600 KW 1LH8 motor, and 1 310KW 1LH1 motor. We are working on an operational equipment maintenance contract for 2018.
