DYKA designs, manufactures and sells plastic piping systems for the sanitation, drilling and irrigation sectors. Each year during the summer shutdown, we proceed to the control of a 500kW asynchronous motor with shock waves to determine if the engine needs to be overhauled.

This year, the inspection was necessary because it revealed an insulation fault on the engine (value of the insulation divided by two in a year) which is typical of a pollution of the winding by clogging.

Our teams are immediately mobilized to remove, clean the rotor and the stator and put the asynchronous motor back on their factory of Saint Austreberthe (62, France) in a few days during the summer stop.
