Procedure before dismantling
- Check motor connectors.
- Mechanical inspection: general condition, shaft, etc.
- Electrical inspection (insulation, resistance, inductors, KE, etc.) according to the manufacturer’s data.
- Electronic inspection: sensor, variable speed drive test.
- Cooling control: ventilation, water circuit, etc.
Repair Procedure
- Metrological inspection of bearing seatings, joint surfaces, flanges, shaft, etc.
- Electrical inspection: ageing, pollution: BAKER index.
- Visual inspection of the condition of the winding.
- Inspection of the rotor blade. Ability to re-magnetize magnets.
Testing/validation procedure
Testing and validation is carried in an un-loaded, dynamic manner using a dedicated variable speed drive. This is done by means of an inertial disc coupled to the motor shaft to generate the nominal motor torque during the acceleration (for induction brushless motors) and deceleration phases.
Traceability procedure
- Diagnosis and testing history.
- Traceability produced by: machine number / customer number / DV GROUP number.
- Test sheet and qualification/test certificate.
